Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a deep understanding of insurance operations and technology. This role is ideal for individuals with both business-side expertise (e.g., underwriting, policy lifecycle, billing, claims) and technology-side experience (e.g., policy administration systems, workflow automation). As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate with our clients to assess their current processes, identify challenges, define solutions, and work closely with our delivery teams to implement effective technology-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities
    • Work directly with insurance clients to understand their business processes, challenges, and objectives.
    • Analyze end-to-end insurance workflows, from submission through underwriting, rating, quoting, binding, issuance, billing, and claims.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and technology enhancements.
    • Document business and system requirements, including use cases, user stories, and functional specifications.
    • Collaborate with project managers, software engineers, and QA teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
    • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment on goals and expectations.
    • Support testing, training, and deployment of new solutions to ensure successful adoption by end users.
    • Stay up to date on insurance industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications & Experience
    • 5+ years of experience in the property & casualty insurance industry, ideally in underwriting, operations, or business process management.
    • Experience with policy administration systems and related insurance technology solutions.
    • Strong understanding of insurance workflows and processing, including submission, underwriting, rating, quoting, binding, issuance, billing, and claims.
    • Ability to translate business needs into detailed system requirements and collaborate with technology teams on solution design.
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex business problems.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
    • Knowledge of data integration, APIs, and insurance analytics is a plus.
