Job Purpose

Combined Ratio Solutions is an American company with multiple offices worldwide, engaged in the development of products for insurance companies. Our customers are large international companies, leaders in the insurance industry. We are looking for a QA Engineer. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Defining and implementing test strategies for projects.
    • Assist in the performance of software testing procedures on the Application Software and ensure all errors are identified and corrected before release to clients.
    • Identifying testing goals, timelines, and resource needs for projects.
    • Executing test scripts and reviewing results.
    • Drawing up the documentation for functional testing.
    • Diagnosing and troubleshooting processing problems and apply solutions.
    • Organizing meetings to discuss outstanding issues with QA team and developers.
    • Proactively identifying and resolving potential problems in work.
    • Classifying the current software errors and storing them in the database.
    • Designing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
    • Developing and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure scalable and efficient testing.
    • Mentoring junior QA engineers, providing guidance on best practices, technical skills, and career development.
Skills Required:
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
    • Experience in project management and QA methodology.
    • Working experience in the development team for several years.
    • Skilled in working with databases such as MS SQL, and CosmosDB.
    • Proficient in various testing strategies.
    • Proficient in using Jira and Azure DevOps for project management
    • Knowledge of Python, Bash for developing scripts.
    • Experience with automotive tests frameworks (such as Robot Framework)
    • Familiar with such tools as Postman, Jira, Miro etc.
    • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
    • Proficient in English at the B2+ level.
    • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
    • Attention to detail.
