QA Engineer

Location: Tbilisi, Georgia

Job Purpose

Combined Ratio Solutions is an American company with multiple offices worldwide, engaged in the development of products for insurance companies. Our customers are large international companies, leaders in the insurance industry. We are looking for a QA Engineer. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in the performance of software testing procedures on the Application Software and ensure all errors are identified and corrected before release to clients.
• Executing test scripts and reviewing results.
• Execute test cases and analyse results.
• Identify and resolve errors in work.
• Draw up the documentation for functional testing.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot processing problems and apply solutions.
• Organize meetings to discuss outstanding issues with QA team and developers.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential problems in work.
• Classify the current software errors and store them in the database.

Added Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
• Experience in project management and QA methodology.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
• English language (At least B2)
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Attention to detail.

Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
• Experience in project management and QA methodology.
• Knowledge of Python, Bash for developing scripts.
• Experience with automotive tests frameworks (such as Robot Framework)
• Familiar with such tools as Postman, Jira, Miro etc.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
• English language (At least B2)
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Attention to detail.
