DevOps Engineer

Combined Ratio Solutions is an American company with multiple offices worldwide, engaged in the development of products for insurance companies. Our customers are large international companies, leaders in the insurance industry.

We are looking for the experienced DevOps engineer with an expertise in Azure services administration. The Azure DevOps services are in use for the dev teams planning, collaborating, deployment activities.The infrastructure as code (IaC) approach based on the Terraform is in use to automate the management of infrastructure including App services, databases, Function Apps, and the other services. The development team utilizes the modern technologies and the best software development practices to create valuable, high-performance products.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Azure infrastructure management – work with VMs, app services, Function apps, message brokers, AppInsights etc 
• Work with Azure CLI, PowerShell scripts 
• The Terraform code improvements to cover the new products features 
• Move the project forward by the software best practices utilization and the modern technologies use 
• Deliver the functionalities in time as it was planned during the planning sessions 
• Communicate with the distributed high-performance development teams 
• Manage the Azure DevOps pipelines and Linux based build machines 
• Manage the AppInsights services and configure the notifications system 
• Participation in strategy planning's to discuss the infrastructure improvements
• Contribute the new features and approaches based on the infrastructure and products review 

Added Responsibilities

• Ability to offer the new features for the implementation 
• Work with the modern Azure cloud stack 
• Learn the new technologies, new practices and use them on practice 
• Work with the friendly, high-performance team 

Skills Required

• 2+ years of work with Azure technology stack 
• Experienced in Linux machines management 
• Expertise in PowerShell scripts, Azure CLI 
• Having a willingness and ability to learn the new technologies 
• Fluent in English (written, oral) 
• Ready to work with multinational culture 
• Good soft skills and ability to work in a team 
• Higher IT education
