Python/React Developer

Location: Montevideo, Uruguay

Job Purpose

Headquartered in Connecticut, Combined Ratio is an InsurTech services provider with multiple offices worldwide. We are based in Montevideo since June 2022 and our customers are large international companies leaders in the insurance industry. We are currently looking for a Python/React developer with experience to join our multicultural team. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Engaging in project using software best practices and modern technologies
• Developing and improving solutions with other developers
• Delivering the functionalities in time as it was set during the planning sessions
• Participating in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis and solution design
• Participating in pull request processes
• Implementing new features, optimizing and refactoring the solution if needed needed
• Performing the code review for other developers in teams
• Designing and developing scalable solutions
  

Skills Required

• 2+ years in web development and software design;
• Advanced knowledge of Python language; 
• Experienced in UI development based on the React framework;
• Web services (REST/Web API);
• Being open to learn new technologies;
• Experience with Figma, ability to use the provided designs;
• Good soft skills and ability to work in teams;
• Good command of English language (+B2)
